Evening at Brižićevin courtyard
Poetry evening organized since 1991 by Matica Hrvatska Preko (Croatian non-profit and non-governmental cultural organization). The work of local poets, Croatian writers from home and abroad, and poets from other countries is presented at Brižićevin courtyard, and with the indispensable music program of local and visiting singers and groups, the drama program of the local folk theatre is presented. The evening ends with socializing with kuse (large chunks of bread) and wine, as it once was customary for get-togethers in courtyards.
