Place Ugljan, center

The project "Every place has its own bench" started in 2014.

During this project every place got its own unique mosaic bench. It is a bench cast in concrete decorated with the remains of the ceramic tiles in a mosaic technique.

A large number of curious tourists, as well as the local population, took part in the construction of the benches.

The project encourages creativity, positive spirit, and togetherness, and has an ecological dimension - by recycling waste materials raises the environmental awareness of all involved.

The mosaic benches have become the most photographed objects on the island of Ugljan. By sharing photos via social networks, advertisements about the benches and Ugljan are spread all over the world and create a recognisable brand.

This summer we will decorate the flower pots in the center of Ugljan. Various colorful motifs delight children, but also adults.

Anyone who wants to leave their mark and a lasting memory can join us from 8pm.
